Oklahoma’s growing economy is leading some lawmakers to consider a cut to the state’s income tax while at the same time facing a possible $100 million shortfall.
At the same time, the State Capitol is in desperate need of repairs, and Oklahoma’s agencies are struggling.
These are just a few of the issues facing members of the state House and Senate during the 2nd session of the 53rd legislature which starts today.
