Thunder Girls Ready to Entertain OKC Fans

Part of the attraction of going to a live Oklahoma City Thunder game at the Chesapeake Energy Arena includes the Thunder Girls.

Whether on the hardwood or mingling with fans, the 20 women on the squad bring fun and entertainment to the crowds

This year seven members of the Thunder Girls are starting their first year with the organization.

One of them, Kaci, has been dancing since she was three and attended Kansas State University.

Although she learned in early August she had made the team, she’s been waiting patiently for the real season to start.

Besides the seven rookies in the group, the Thunder Girls coach is also beginning her first year with the organization.

The season starts on Christmas night.
