Many lawmakers have the state income tax in their crosshairs heading into the next legislative session. But it makes up fully one-third of the state’s revenue. Another move to cripple the middle case by the "your on your own" GOP and protecting the upper class. If the gov and legislature was honest about cutting taxes, they would have the food tax in their sights.
