Part of the experience of going to an Oklahoma City Thunder game is the entertainment from fans on the jumbo-tron to free t-shirts shot from a cannon.

Events and Entertainment Director John Leach started his career with the Houston Rockets and made his way to Oklahoma City through Charlotte and Seattle.

KOSU’s Michael Cross talked with Leach about what it takes to put on a game in the second part of our series looking at the people who create the Thunder experience at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The home opener for the Oklahoma City Thunder takes place Sunday night at 7:00.

In our final part of the Thunder Voices, we’ll talk to two of the newest members of the Thunder Girls dance squad.
