The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says all state bridges and roads are safe following a weekend of earthquakes.

After earthquakes rattled the state Saturday morning and night, ODOT crews went to work in a 50-square mile radius around the epicenter near Sparks.

Transportation Secretary Gary Ridley says hundreds of bridges have been inspected.

“We feel very good that there’s no structural damage. We are continuing to do in-depth inspections really take a harder look at it to make sure there isn’t any cosmetic things that we need to correct.”

The 4.7 quake Saturday morning buckled a 10 to 12 foot section of Highway 62 east of Meeker, but that was quickly repaired.

Ridley says there appears to be no damage after the record setting 5.6 quake Saturday night.
