On a field tucked off a main road in Edmond, a baseball league gives those with disabilities a chance to have some fun. Margo Price started the Miracle League in 2001. Her son had just turned twelve years old, and didn’t have anywhere to play because of his disability.

Since then, the league has sprouted into a bustling operation, with more than a hundred kids hitting, fielding and running the bases every week. I took a trip to Mitch Park recently, and discovered a bunch of kids thrilled to be on the field.
