It’s safe to say that Jack And Jill does not represent the next step in Adam Sandler’s effort to be taken seriously as a leading man or a real actor. (Remember when he wanted to be a real actor?) Directed by Dennis Dugan — as were Just Go With It, I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, Grown Ups, and other classics — Jack And Jill brings Adam Sandler back to the most Adam-Sandler-y place he ever goes. The fact that there are no flatulence jokes in this trailer, however, leads me to believe that Katie Holmes perhaps had a no-flatulence-jokes clause in her contract.
