What boarders did UN based its decision on to grant Israel statehood in 1948? 2.Ownership of Jerusalem can only be determined on archiological evidence to prove the existence of the second temple because only the truth can set eveyone free. If there is archeological evidence of the second temple exist, then Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish. Whilst making a decesion on Palestine’s statehood the following should be kept in mind.
